Description

The heart of personalization occurs in relationships with educators and learners. The core practices expected in these environments must permeate the entire organization and begin with the 'leader of learning.' In this course, you will learn how building personalized and agentic learning systems for all stakeholders allows for deep and sustainable transformation.

Learning Intentions:

  • Understand Learning and Teaching, the second of five elements in leading an organization through transformation to a personalized, competency-based (PCBL) system of education
  • Explore instructional frameworks aligned with personalized, competency-based education
  • Analyze current professional learning plans and determine short- and long-term actions needed to design a plan that models PCBL practices
  • Understand "look-fors" as a formative feedback tool
  • Determine the degree to which formative and summative feedback processes in your school or district align to PCBL

eCampus by CESA #1 is a collection of virtual learning experiences covering a wide range of topics that focus on building the capacity of educators to positively impact learners. Each course will provide an overview of the “why” and “what” behind a specific practice and then take a deeper dive into HOW educators can bring the practice to life in their unique context. These learning experiences include opportunities for reflection on, and application of, specific instructional practices, strategies, and frameworks. The Leading Learner-Centered Education series of courses align with the i4PL Honeycomb framework for learner-centered practice.

All eCampus courses are self-paced, asynchronous and designed to take approximately four hours to complete. Content in courses designated with a I, II, or III are designed to be taken in order.
