Engaging Students...Creating Learners
As learning and teaching practices transform, and as the roles of educators and learners continue to evolve, it is essential that we rethink our assessment practices. Assessment is the primary tool learners and educators use to determine their readiness level for learning. It is also one of the main forms of dialogue between learners and educators. This course will help you find new ways to leverage assessment as a means to make learning and teaching more dynamic and responsive.
This course is aligned with the i4PL Honeycomb framework for learner-centered practice.

eCampus by CESA #1 is a collection of virtual learning experiences covering a wide range of topics that focus on building the capacity of educators to positively impact learners. Each course will provide an overview of the “why” and “what” behind a specific practice and then take a deeper dive into HOW educators can bring the practice to life in their unique context. These learning experiences include opportunities for reflection on, and application of, specific instructional practices, strategies, and frameworks. This course aligns with the i4PL Honeycomb framework for learner-centered practice. All eCampus courses are self-paced, asynchronous and designed to take approximately four hours to complete. Content in courses designated with a I, II, or III are designed to be taken in order. All other courses can be accessed in any order. Enrollment is rolling due to the self-paced nature of the courses. Important Dates: Registration opens May 16, 2023; Access to courses begins July 1, 2023; Registration closes May 15, 2024; All coursework must be completed by June 15, 2024. |
