Standards-guided learning means moving beyond teachers using standards to drive instruction toward learners understanding and being able to articulate standards to set goals, determine personal pathways, and bring the learning experience to life in ways that are meaningful to them. This course will explore how standards-guided learning serves as the core of learner pathways and proficiency-based progress.
This course is aligned with the i4PL Honeycomb framework for learner-centered practice.
Learning Intentions:
eCampus by CESA #1 is a collection of virtual learning experiences covering a wide range of topics that focus on building the capacity of educators to positively impact learners. Each course will provide an overview of the “why” and “what” behind a specific practice and then take a deeper dive into HOW educators can bring the practice to life in their unique context. These learning experiences include opportunities for reflection on, and application of, specific instructional practices, strategies, and frameworks. This course aligns with the i4PL Honeycomb framework for learner-centered practice. All eCampus courses are self-paced, asynchronous and designed to take approximately four hours to complete. Content in courses designated with a I, II, or III are designed to be taken in order. All other courses can be accessed in any order. Enrollment is rolling due to the self-paced nature of the courses.
