Description
The workshop model can help increase engagement and agency for both students and teachers. This course will explore the components of the workshop model for secondary classrooms (mini-lesson, practice/collaborative time, and debrief/reflect) and provide best practices for effectively structuring classroom time for each.
Learning Intentions:
- Understand the workshop model and the benefits of using it in a secondary classroom
- Explore effective mini-lessons
- Learn best practices for structuring class time

eCampus by CESA 1 is a collection of virtual learning experiences covering a wide range of topics that focus on building the capacity of educators to positively impact learners. All eCampus courses are self-paced and asynchronous. Enrollment is rolling due to the self-paced nature of the courses.
