Description

Rigor can seem like a somewhat ambiguous term or moving target. This course will help solidify your understanding of the concept of rigor and give you tools to plan and deliver rigorous classroom lessons through a detailed exploration of Webb's Depth of Knowledge and Bloom's Taxonomy.

  • Understand meaningful ways to challenge students
  • Explore the concepts of complexity of thinking and cognitive depth
  • Classify classroom activities by the level of learning
  • Understand the application of DoK and/or Bloom’s to create rigorous assessments

eCampus by CESA 1 is a collection of virtual learning experiences covering a wide range of topics that focus on building the capacity of educators to positively impact learners. All eCampus courses are self-paced and asynchronous. Enrollment is rolling due to the self-paced nature of the courses.
