Description
The 2025 CESA #1 Regional Spelling Bees will take place in person during the week of February 17-20, 2025. Any public, private, charter, or home school in the CESA #1 region is eligible to participate! Regional competitions hosted by CESAs throughout the state of Wisconsin are affiliated with the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
Schools must enroll with Scripps AND
register with CESA #1 by January 10, 2025.
All bees are held at the CESA #1 office and start promptly at 6:00 PM. The cost to participate in the CESA #1 Regional Spelling Bee is $75 per speller. Please note that this event is not "Free" as indicated at the top of the screen. The $75 fee for each participating speller will be assessed at the session level when you select a date.
New this year! When completing the registration form, you'll be prompted to select the date that your school champions will participate in the CESA #1 Regional Spelling Bee. Districts registering more than one school must select the same date for all schools.

The number of students eligible to advance to the regional competition is based on the total enrollment in schools that are enrolled with Scripps.
- Schools with fewer than 700 students are eligible to send one (1) speller to the regional bee.
- Schools with 700+ students are eligible to send their top two (2) spellers to the regional bee.
