Data, Assessment, and Accountability are tightly connected and crucial for driving continuous improvement in education systems. We are pleased to present a series that weaves together three essential networks, ensuring a systemic approach to enhancing teaching and learning.

District Assessment Coordinators (DAC) Network

Focused on the accurate, compliant administration of state and required assessments and the effective use of assessment data.

This highly collaborative network brings District Assessment Coordinators together to:

• Work collectively to communicate and implement assessment administration procedures
• Problem-solve compliance requirements related to state and federal testing
• Collaborate in the use of WISE applications to interpret assessment results connected to State Report Cards, ESSA, and IDEA
• Share practices, tools, and solutions related to assessment administration, reporting, and timelines

Continuous Improvement Network

Focused on using state and federal reports to drive system-level continuous improvement.

This network brings leadership teams together to:

• Work as a team to analyze State Report Card, ESSA, and IDEA data to identify system-level needs and priorities
• Explore and apply new tools and protocols to strengthen data use for continuous improvement
• Engage in collaborative problem-solving to plan, implement, and monitor improvement efforts
• Build shared leadership capacity, data literacy, and aligned action planning across the system

WISEdata Network

Focused on ensuring clean, accurate, and timely data for state and federal reporting.

This collaborative network brings together members who use the same school information systems to:

• Work together to prepare for critical snapshot dates through shared planning and validation
• Problem-solve common data challenges using the student information system and WISEdata tools
• Design and share solutions for data entry, verification, and error resolution
• Build shared processes that strengthen organizational capacity for reliable data reporting

Recommended Participants: WISEdata primary and secondary contacts, District Assessment Coordinator, Special Education Director, and other staff involved in snapshot preparation
