Substitute Teacher Training 2026-27

In the state of Wisconsin individuals with a bachelor's degree or an associate's degree from an accredited institution are eligible to be a substitute teacher.

This training will provide the basic skills necessary to successfully substitute teach at any level. Participants will also learn how to obtain a substitute teacher license.

• Dates:    
  • July 30, 2026 (in-person) 
  • September 17 & 18, 2026 (virtual)
  • October 28 & 29, 2026 (virtual)
  • January 13 & 14, 2027 (virtual)
  • March 10 & 11, 2027 (virtual)
     
  • Participants must attend two consecutive virtual dates. Sessions cannot be interchanged. 
  • Participants must attend both virtual days of training to obtain verification of training.
     
• Time: Each training date will run 8:30am-2:30pm
   
• Cost: $300 
  • Payment is due one week prior to the event start date - please see payment policy for cancellation and refunds.
