Description
NO COST* for State Model public schools, districts, charters in CESA 1 region.
$220 per person for private schools and districts outside CESA 1 region. Fees will be added to registrants outside the CESA 1 region during the registration process.
This in-person, group training is designed to support teacher evaluators in completing both Part I (DPI Online Training Module) and Part II (Collaborative Observation Calibration Activity) of the Initial Certification Training as required by DPI.
Participants will:
- Use and understand the 2022 Framework for Teaching (FfT) language
- Provide teachers with evidence-based feedback
- Collaborate with other observers to maintain consistency throughout the observation process
- Establish and maintain growth-focused, learning-centered conditions and mindsets
- Complete new evaluator training as per DPI requirements for statewide Educator Effectiveness
Designed to Support: Teacher Evaluators new to the DPI State Model (Danielson Framework).

*This event is made possible in part through funding from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, which offsets a significant portion of the cost - estimated at approximately $220 per participant per day. As a result, any participant fees are minimal and solely used to cover meals, materials, and venue expenses.
