AM - Understanding Dyslexia:
Participants will gain a research-based understanding of dyslexia, and Tier 1 instructional strategies that will give them the confidence to support reading instruction for all students.
Highlights
- Understand Dyslexia: Dispel common myths and misconceptions while learning how to identify red flags.
- Targeted Instruction: Recognize the coexistence of less-developed executive functioning skills and how to integrate supportive strategies into Tier 1 instruction.
PM - Dyslexia Toolbox:
Participants will move from an understanding of dyslexia, to the practical application of Tier 1 and Tier 2 instructional strategies needed to bridge the gap between theory and classroom.

- Practice Evidence-Based Literacy Routines: Learn to implement a three-part multisensory drill as well as syllabication techniques that build decoding and fluency skills.
- Bridge Phonics and Morphology: Transition from basic spelling patterns to advanced word study, unlocking meaning for students at every grade level.
- Design and Differentiate: Collaborate to design lessons tailored to your students, integrating multisensory strategies that support learners using a structured literacy framework.
