Are you an educator new to a district that implements learner-centered practices? Are you looking to start or reignite learner-centered practice in your classroom? Do you know a little bit about learner-centered practice, but want to take it to a deeper level?

Boot Camp is intended for those new to the concepts of personalized learning and/or for those who need a bit of a refresher. During this professional learning session, participants will discuss the characteristics of POWERful learners. In addition, participants will gain an understanding around:

  • Making the case for shifting towards a learner-centered educational system
  • Defining personalizing learning through a learner-centered framework and change strategy
  • Tips and strategies to begin implementing personalized learning in the classroom
  • Addresses NSQOL Standards - A

Boot Camp is a virtual workshop facilitated by a professional development specialist via Zoom. During this LIVE three-hour session, you will virtually interact with your peers and explore topics specific to personalized learning.

Enrollment closes seven calendar days prior to the start date. Districts have the option of creating their own cohort of participants on a custom date that fits their schedule; please contact Melissa Arnold for more information. This workshop is open to anyone but is offered at no cost for all Institute members! Unsure if your school or district is an Institute member?
