ACCESS Scores Have Arrived... Now What? - May 8, 2024

Now that you have the ACCESS scores, what do you do with that information? Whether you are a large district with many English learners or a low incident district, decisions will need to be made regarding staffing, programming, instruction and supportive services to all students.

During this training, participants will:

• Unpack scores and examine options for instruction, grouping, and professional development for teachers.
• Design Individual Learning Plans using the WIDA Can Do descriptors for students' current and upcoming school years.
• Design meetings in creative and efficient ways to allow teachers time to examine the scores within their daily schedule.

*Bring a laptop and school/district score reports with you to the meeting.

Audience: Support Administrators, English Learner Specialists and Content Teachers with experience in interpretation of scores, writing Individual Learning Plans (ILP) and designing instruction.
