Description
Now that you have the ACCESS scores, what do you do with that information? Whether you are a large district with many English learners or a low incident district, decisions will need to be made regarding staffing, programming, instruction and supportive services to all students.
During this training, participants will:
Unpack scores and examine options for instruction, grouping, and professional development for teachers.
Design Individual Learning Plans using the WIDA Can Do descriptors for students' current and upcoming school years.
Design meetings in creative and efficient ways to allow teachers time to examine the scores within their daily schedule.
*Bring a laptop and school/district score reports with you to the meeting.
Audience: Support Administrators, English Learner Specialists and Content Teachers with experience in interpretation of scores, writing Individual Learning Plans (ILP) and designing instruction.
