Literacy Network 2024-2025

Professional Development FOR Reading Specialists, WITH Reading Specialists, BY Reading Specialists!

The CESA #1 Literacy Leader Network is a professional learning community with a mission to discuss, collaborate, and support one another as we deepen our understanding of high impact instructional practices and relevant staff development for our teachers.

Participants enjoy the opportunity to:

• Network with other reading specialists and literacy leaders throughout the school year
• Explore and reflect on current, high impact literacy instruction research, including new research on the science of reading
• Engage in collegial conversations with literacy coaches from other districts
• Reflect on a choice of professional readings to expand knowledge around best practices, upcoming literacy trends and pedagogy

Network book study: The Writing Revolution 2.0 by Hochman & Wexler
*One book included per paid seat

Audience: Reading Teachers, Reading Specialists, Coaches, and Literacy Leaders

Districts can now register as a team - $1850/team (up to 5 participants) or $500/individual person (registration required for all). 

Note: This network is a community that works best with regular attendance at each session - rotating/sharing seats is not recommended.
