Description
Wisconsin made a half credit of Personal Financial Literacy a graduation requirement beginning with the class of 2028 (see 2023 WI Act 60).
The state started requiring its schools to incorporate K-12 PFL curriculum in 2017 (see 2017 WI Act 94).
During this no cost workshop, participants will:
Review WI Act 60 and unpack Wisconsin’s Model Academic Standards for Personal Financial Literacy
Audit current course(s) in alignment with ACT 60 & Standards and create a timeline and action plan
Network with other schools/districts to share resources and ideas
Audience: District/School Teams recommended (C&I Director, Teachers, Instructional Leaders, Special Education Representative)
