Description
The role of leadership has changed over the last three years. What is the role of a leader in managing a crisis? What is the role of the leader in imagining a new future for learners? How do leaders respond to the needs of stakeholders while planning for a future that isn’t known? This course will help leaders "move to the balcony'' as they reflect on their leadership during the pandemic versus the leadership needed to transform the educational experience for all stakeholders. You will also leave this course with short and long term strategies as you reimagine your leadership practices.
Learning Intentions:
- Compare and contrast short-term leadership practices to a more long-term aspirational leadership style
- Explore various leadership models in order to establish strategies that are more aligned to a personalized, competency-based system
