Learn Together, Play Together - Parent-Child Playgroup

Wisconsin Sound Beginnings team members welcome you to join a story/song hour which promotes parent-child connection, playful interactions, and communication through listening/talking and sign language. 

During this interactive group time, family members will join their child in learning and playing together through accessible songs, stories, and language activities that promote connection between parent/caregiver and child. 

This group consists of babies and toddlers (ages 0-3) who are deaf or hard of hearing and their parents, grandparents, or other caregivers. It is a space to connect with other families and share in some joyful moments together.

Promoting language and social-emotional development are at the heart of all the work we do as the WSB team. For little ones who are deaf or hard of hearing, it is so important that all their caregivers and loved ones are aware of their communication and social-emotional milestones. Families will learn about steps that WSB team members will offer in helping families to monitor their child's development over time.

Registration on this form allows you and your family to participate in all listed events. You do not need to register each time. Once you register, you will receive an email reminder 1 week prior to each monthly event. If you cannot attend a session, we understand. ASL interpretation will be provided at each session.
