This five part professional learning experience is centered on the coaching behaviors defined in Wisconsin’s Coaching Competency Practice Profile. Participants can expect to learn, reflect, and practice skills centered around relationship development, communication, coaching conversations, change facilitation, reflection and equity mindset. Coaches will also consider the power of coaching teams and systems.

Session 1*: Relationship Development & Coach Leader Partnerships

Session 2: The Coaching Conversation & Communication Skills

Optional - Cornerstone Community of Coaching: Group will engage in 90 minute sessions of dialogue & peer coaching from February to May. Dates TBD

Cost: $150 per person; includes lunch on in-person days
 

Facilitator Joseph Kanke is Wisconsin’s Statewide Coaching Coordinator.

His mission is to act as a liaison between the field and the state with the intention of creating a statewide system of coaching supports for regions, districts, and schools to access as they develop their own coaching programs. He is also passionate about equity and how coaches can hold this at the center of their work.
