This training is designed for teams that have never been trained in WiMLSS-B (PBIS) Selected practices, teams or buildings with staff changes, or teams trained prior to 2018.
 Ideal teams have 6-10 members (administration, classroom teachers, student services staff, & WiMLSS-B  leads/coaches) who are committed to teaming for at least a year and who will  engage families, community members, and students in decision-making.

 

Team Objectives:

  • Learn the 6 features of selected interventions connected to universal systems
  • Analyze current interventions for 6 features of selected interventions
  • Develop/refine check-in check-out (CICO), modified CICO, social academic instruction (SAI), mentoring, and brief behavior intervention plans (BIP)
  • Create a plan to train, support, and gather feedback from critical partners
  • Practice systems-level discussions and data-based decision-making

This offering is part of the Wisconsin Multi-Level Systems of Supports Project. This event is partially funded through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) to cover the instructional and administrative fees, which we estimate to be around $2,250 per day for a team of six. Any fee recovery is charged to cover meals, materials, and venue.
