Personal Finance: A Focus on Saving & Investing

This dynamic personal finance workshop will equip educators with the tools, strategies, and standards knowledge needed to deliver high-quality financial literacy instruction.

With recent updates under Wisconsin's Act 60 and the release of new personal finance standards, this workshop will connect educators to statewide resources, provide actionable curriculum ideas, and support alignment with graduation requirements.

Participants will:

• Understand the requirements of Wisconsin Act 60 and the six strands of the new Personal Financial Literacy (PFL) standards
• Meet your regional PFL Fellow and create connections for ongoing support
• Conduct a gap analysis to evaluate current curriculum alignment with new state requirements
• Explore high-quality instructional resources from Next Gen Personal Finance (NGPF)
• Receive classroom-ready resources to engage your students in saving, investing, and smart financial decision-making
