WIDA English Language Development (ELD) Standards Series - October 2025

The WIDA English Language Development (ELD) Standards Framework provides a foundation for curriculum, instruction and assessment for multilingual learners in kindergarten through grade 12.

The ELD Standards Framework is centered on access and opportunity and fosters the assets, contributions and potential of multilingual learners.

During this series participants will:

• Increase educator familiarity with WIDA ELD Standards
• Integrate WIDA ELD Standards into instructional design across the academic disciplines
• Differentiate instruction using WIDA proficiency levels
• Utilize WIDA's Can Do Descriptors to support instructional planning

Audience: School/district teams of EL teachers, classroom/content area teachers, curriculum directors, instructional coaches

• October 8, 2025 - 3:00pm-4:00pm - virtual
• October 15, 2025 - 3:00pm-4:00pm - virtual
• October 22, 2025 - 3:00pm-4:00pm - virtual
• October 29, 2025 - 9:00am-12:00pm - CESA 1

This event is offered at no cost to CESA 1 Title III Consortium Members (up to 5 at no-cost per district). While you may receive Title III funding, not all CESA 1 districts are Title III members. If you are unsure if your district is a CESA 1 Title III member please confirm with Kristy Schroeder prior to registration. Districts who are not members will be billed in full regardless of registration selection.
