Description
Join the CESA 1 Literacy Team for an immersive school leadership event focused on advancing science-aligned literacy practices! Engage in collaborative discussions and activities to craft targeted action plans for effective implementation of Act 20 Requirements that support Science-Aligned early literacy instruction.
Act 20 requires all principals of grades of 5K-3 and district reading specialists to complete literacy training focused on the systematic implementation of curriculum and practices that meet the definition of Science-aligned Early Literacy Instruction. New hires have 6 months from the date of hire to complete an Act 20 leadership training. This leadership training is intended to be added on to ANY CERI-accredited teacher training to meet the Act 20 Leadership requirement and would ideally follow the last session of the teacher training.
